Text Diff Checker
Compares two texts line by line, highlighting added lines in green and removed lines in red. Handy for comparing config files or document drafts before and after a change. If you just need to format JSON content, also try the JSON Formatter tool.

Notes
- Comparison is line-based. There is no feature to highlight just part of a line.
- Comparing very long texts (thousands of lines or more) may slow down your browser.
- Everything runs entirely in your browser — the text you enter is never sent to a server.
Glossary
Diff
A comparison between two texts that identifies added lines, removed lines, and lines that stayed the same. Commonly used to review source code changes or compare a document before and after editing.
Line-based comparison
This tool compares text line by line (split on newlines) rather than character by character. If only part of a line changes, the entire line is shown as a removed/added pair.
FAQ
Can it highlight only the changed part within a line?
No. Comparison is line-based, and a changed line appears as a whole as added (green) or removed (red).
Is it fine to compare large files?
Very long texts, several thousand lines or more, may slow the browser down. Split large files into parts.
Is the compared text sent anywhere?
No. It is processed entirely in your browser, so it is safe for comparing configuration files.
