How to use
- Choose a word topic in "Category". Changing it starts a new word.
- Pick a letter with the on-screen keys or your keyboard. If it is in the word, every copy of it is revealed.
- A letter that is not in the word adds a part to the drawing. Six misses and the game is over.
- Reveal every letter to win. If you get stuck, press "Give up" to see the answer, or "New word" to move on to the next one.
Notes
- Words come from a short built-in list of about 240 everyday English words in 8 categories. Nothing is fetched or sent to a server.
- The words are mostly common nouns at a school level. Upper and lower case are treated the same, and full-width letters are accepted too.
- The word you just played is not repeated right away. Reloading the page starts a new word, and progress is not saved.
- You are allowed six misses. There is no hint button.

A word-guessing game where you pick letters one at a time. Each wrong letter adds a part to a drawing, and you win if you find the word before the drawing is finished.
FAQ
How many wrong guesses end the game?
Six. The drawing adds the head, body, two arms and two legs in that order, one for each letter that is not in the word. Picking a letter you already chose does not count as a miss.
What kind of words does it use?
The page has a built-in list of about 240 words in 8 categories: animals, food, nature, school, home, travel, jobs and body. They are mostly everyday nouns. Choose "All" to draw from every category.
Can I type capital letters or full-width letters?
Yes. Case does not matter, and full-width letters are converted before checking. Anything other than a single letter from a to z is rejected and does not count as a miss.
Can I see what the word means?
This page does not show definitions. The answer is revealed when you win, lose or give up. If you want to check a word, look it up in a dictionary afterwards.
Will the same word come up twice in a row?
No, the word you just played is skipped. A word from a few rounds ago can come back, though. Reloading the page also starts with a fresh random word, and nothing is saved.
