Image Merger (Combine Multiple Images Into One)
Arrange several images horizontally, vertically, or in a grid and save them as a single image. It is handy for stitching screenshots together or making before-and-after comparisons. Everything runs in your browser and nothing is uploaded. To change the size after merging, try the Image Resizer.

How to use
- Drag and drop image files into the box, or pick several with the button.
- In the "Images to merge" list, use "↑ Up" and "↓ Down" to set the order. Drop unwanted images with "Remove".
- Choose side by side, stacked, or grid under "Layout", then adjust "Gap between images", "Outer margin", "Background color", and more. The preview shows the result.
- Choose a "Format" and click "Download merged image" to save it.
Notes
- You can merge up to 50 images at a time. The merged image can be up to 16384 px per side and 50 million pixels in total.
- With "Match sizes" off, images keep their original size and any gaps caused by different sizes are filled with the background color. With it on, images are scaled to the same height (side by side) or the same width (stacked).
- "JPEG" cannot hold transparency, so the background is filled with white even if "Transparent background" is checked. Choose "PNG" or "WebP" to keep transparency.
- For GIF and animated WebP, only the first frame is used. The orientation stored in smartphone photos (EXIF) is applied automatically.
Glossary
Grid
A layout that arranges images in rows and columns. Once you set the number of columns, images fill from left to right, then top to bottom.
Aspect ratio
The ratio of an image width to its height. Images with different ratios leave gaps when placed together, so use "Match sizes" to adjust.
EXIF
Shooting information embedded in a photo. Smartphone photos store their orientation here, and the browser rotates them correctly for you.
FAQ
What happens when the images have different sizes?
With "Match sizes" off, images keep their original size and the space around smaller ones is filled with the background color. With it on, images are scaled to the same height (side by side) or the same width (stacked), so the result has no gaps. In a grid, the largest image defines the size of one cell and every image is scaled to fit inside it.
How do I change the order of the images?
Use "↑ Up" and "↓ Down" in the "Images to merge" list to move one image at a time. Side by side runs left to right, stacked runs top to bottom, and a grid fills left to right, then top to bottom. Newly added images go to the end of the list.
Can I merge images on a transparent background?
Yes. Check "Transparent background" and save as PNG or WebP, and the gaps and margins stay transparent. JPEG cannot hold transparency, so those areas are filled with white.
Is there a limit on how many images or how large the result can be?
You can merge up to 50 images at a time, and the result can be up to 16384 px per side and 50 million pixels in total. Many large photos can exceed that; shrink them first or review the "Match sizes" setting.
Are my merged images sent to a server?
No. Loading, merging, and saving all happen inside your browser. Your images are never uploaded.
